FAQs
1. What services do you offer?
I offer virtual and in-person interior design services for expats living in Mexico, including layout design, guided design support, furniture sourcing, styling, and full-scale design packages. Whether you’re setting up a new home or refreshing a rental property, there’s a service to fit your lifestyle and level of involvement.
2. How much does interior design cost?
Each project is unique, but my design services are offered as flat-rate packages so you always know what to expect. Prices vary depending on the scope—whether you need help with layout only, sourcing furniture, or full-service design. You’ll receive a personalized proposal after our discovery call.
3. How should I prepare for our first consultation?
Before our 1-hour consultation, I’ll ask you to fill out a short questionnaire and upload photos, floor plans (if you have them), and inspiration images. Don’t worry—this doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s just a way to help me understand how you live and what you love.
4. Can you work within my budget?
Yes. I tailor every design to your priorities and preferences—including budget. Whether you’re working with existing pieces or starting fresh, I’ll recommend design solutions that align with your goals.
5. Do you work with clients remotely?
Yes. Most of my design work is done virtually, which makes it ideal for expats planning a home from abroad or seasonal residents who aren’t always on-site. It also makes my packages more affordable than some traditional interior design fees. If you’re in Mexico and prefer in-person support, we can explore that too.
6. How long does a typical project take?
Design packages are usually delivered within 2–3 weeks after your onboarding is complete. If you move forward with furniture sourcing, production timelines range from 8 to 12 weeks depending on materials and complexity.
7. Can I book a smaller service, like layout or styling help only?
Absolutely. I offer flexible design packages including layout-only, styling help, and guided support if you’re doing your own shopping but want professional input.
8. Why hire an interior designer?
A designer helps you avoid costly mistakes, clarify your vision, and make confident decisions—especially in a new country with different suppliers and materials. My goal is to make the process enjoyable and help you create a space that feels personal, intentional, and truly livable.
